They all have good features some having slightly different capabilities as far as ISO options and shutter speeds.
The Fugi has the fastest shutter speed 1/2000 which is better for sport shots.
It also has the wider range of ISO including:
Auto, 64, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600
The Minolta you were looking at only has ISO Auto, 50, 100, 200, 320 which is very limited in my opinion.
The only thing I see that the Fugi S5200 does not have is a hot shoe for an external flash but it does have a pop up flash which could be all he really needs if its only for personal and not professional use.
Hope this helps. If I had to only make a decision between the 3 you chose.. I would go for the Fugi.
Also all only give you the 16mg card. That wont even get you 10 pictures lol
I would buy him at least a 512xd if you purchase the Fugi. You have to remember that with digital people take many more shots than they would with film because they know the cost is nothing unless they print them, so even the 64mg card would be limiting.
