Need help with SLR camera

Hi all,

I am taking a manul SLR photography course at a local university. I need a fully manual SLR camera in order to be able to complete all tehn assignements. I have put up a classified and I have recieved 3 responses, 3 different cameras. I am very much novice and I don't know which camera would fullfill the manual mode requirements and also have the most options. The cameras are:

- Nikon FA (specs below listed by owner)
( Nikon FA body, chrome, in very good and clean condition has program, aperture priority, shutter priority and manual exposure control)
Nikon 28 - 50 mm f3.5 fixed zoom lens
Nikon 100 mm f2.8 lens
Nikon speedlight with TTL metering)

Do you have to use a 35mm or can you use a digital slr? Either way the Nikon is a great camera, but so is the Canon. In the 35mm line I've used all kinds, but my favorite is the Canon A1 and F1, which you should be able to find dirt cheap, since most 35mm are on the way out of vogue now that digital is here to stay.
You might check out KEH out of Atlanta, Georgia, since they have a lot of used equipment and they're a reputable source for camera equipment. I purchased two lenses from them for my Canon A1 and F1 and both lenses are great. Here is a link to their site.

The Canon F1 is completely manual while the Canon A1 has both manual and auto settings.
