Hi all, hopefully a quick and easy question to answer, i have just purchased a minolta 5d body and i am now trying to use the flash gun i used to use on 404si. It is a dedicated cobra 440af flash gun but despite all my best attempts to use it on the 5d it seems to white out everything. Is this because the camera is now searching for high speed synch or is it possibly because of the ccd just being over powered?

the flash will only fire at full power

it is NOT compatible with either the 5D or 7D

you can use it in full manual operation only
