I don't have it (I have the 7Mp Sony DSC-V3) but I would just caution you as regards getting a small 8Mp digicam, whatever make it is. With any pocket digicam, squeezing 8 million pixels on to a sensor the same size as that used in a 6Mp or 7Mp camera means the pixels are going to be even smaller. I wouldn't go any higher than 7Mp on a camera this size, and even 7 is pushing it on an APS-sized sensor. Even though it's a nice looking camera I would expect a fair amount of noise, more than the Canon G6 which is 7Mp and just as versatile for the enthusiast. Just a shame the G6 is silver -- black looks so much more purposeful and less glitzy. Why not recommend my Sony V3 (also an enthusiasts camera) you may ask? -- well, it's a fine camera but Sony no longer make it --- beats me why -- it was only launched last year and to date has no obvious replacement. Get the G6.
