 Question Fuji Finepix 300

I bought the camera about 3 years ago. Yesterday my daughter comes to me and says the camera is broken. When you look in the view finder or use the lcd screen the view looks like a kind of rainbow. The camer can zoom in and out with no problems I tried all other modes with no reslution to the problem. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
