Cannot open .RAW file
Hello all,
My daughter gave me a CD with pictures of her wedding. The jpg files are unusable because full of jpg artifacts that even a denoizer cannot save.
On the CD are included the raw files but in a format that photoshop cannot open and any other viewer, conversion tools and image editing prog that I tried. The 28 files type is something like this: _IMGCD0001.RAW (up to) _IMGCD0028.RAW.
Any help, advise, solution will be apreciated
I work on a Mac platform.
Thanks for your help

What camera does your daughter own? that makes a big difference as they each have their own formating structures.
Maybe you also need the raw plugin with photoshop. Also, what version of PS are you using?

Also, most cameras capable of shooting in Raw are supplied with their own software for opening them and converting them to a universal image format such as TIFF or JPEG. Ask your daughter if she has the software that came with the camera so you can install it to open and convert the Raw files.
