A610 vs. A620

Just purchased my first digital - the A610. I haven't even opened the box because I'm worrying that I should have dropped the extra $100 for the A620 (store won't take it back after it's opened). Is it accurate that if I don't make large prints, the higher MP would be lost on me? From what I've read, the two cameras appear to be the same exept for MP.

Please help so I can open my camera and move on with my life.
