Cool Kodak tele extender

I have a DX7440 which I think is great. I have retired my Olympus 2100uz with its 10x optical zoom for my dx7440.
I purchased the Kodak tele extender for the DX7440 and am very unhappy with the results. Do any of you have this aux. lens?
Do you use the infinity lock or close up setting? If so at what range?

Digital regards,

BiLL

I can't comment on this specific teleconverter, but I know that image quality will decrease. This is even true for the expensive canon extenders. Anytime you pass the light through additional glass, the image will be affected. You'll also lose the ability to focus at infinity and your af will be slower.

I do not have the DX7440 nor do I have a KODAK teleconverter. Are you using the accessory lens setting? My 7590 and 850 has this setting so I am guessing the 7440 does also. I'll give you a link to a KODAK forum. Make a post to (name) Coldsnail. He has a 7440 as others on that site do. They will be more then happy to help you out.
