Inspiration & Sources
Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum and I was looking for a little bit of advice. I've only been interested in photography for the nine months (only buying my first digital SLR last month) so I'm quite the beginner! I've done a little bit of landscape photography, editing in Photoshop CS and so forth which decent results. Obviously not anywhere near the standards I've seen in the galleries here of course but a good place to start!
One of my good friends has asked me to do some photography of her and we agreed to use this as an opportunity to practice portrait photography.
As I am still pretty new to this, I was looking for some advice on portrait photography. I'd be looking for some basic (easy to learn) ideas that give decent effects (close up of eyes, hands and so forth) as well as camera angle and subject poise.
If anyone could offer me help, or even if anyone has any links that they could send me to offer a little bit of inspiration.
I'm still in that "I'm not really sure WHAT I should be doing" stage so any help would be great.
Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Andy
