Black spot

I have got a trouble. When I try to take picture of something white or strong light (sky or ceiling) i see on my display -black spot in the middle... it appears when i try to take picture just strong light or white things. what is that?
my cam is Sony DSC-P100

may seem like a simple thing, but make sure your lens is clean. if it is it may be some dust or something on the sensor

Is it always in the same spot of the frame?
If it is, it's probably on the sensor.
If it moves depending upon your angle, aperture or lighting, it's probably the lens.

If you can remove the lens try cleaning both ends of the lens.
Then try cleaning the sensor, but research how to do that before you try it. It's not difficult but it is tricky.

Frank
