Bought a Sony NP-F550 battery @ ebuybatteries.com/product/camera%5Fbatteries/Sony/ weeks ago, the price is OK, battery works fine.

ive been using www.digiprintuk.com for my cameras batteries for a couple of years now. tehy deal in both rechanrgable AA's ect and lithium so worth a look.

Talking of third-party Sony-fit rechargeable batteries --- what about the genuine Sony 'Infolithium' Li-Ion batteries which tell you how long you've got left --- do the cheaper copies work just the same, giving you the time info? I don't just want the word of an online salesman (for obvious reasons), but someone who's used a non-sony battery and are they any good or money wasted rather than saved?
