Question NY Finger Lakes
Hi there. I am kind of new to the site, but have posted a few pictures. I am taking my father-in-law (a South African photographer) to the Finger Lakes in upstate NY - near Ithaca, NY. I was wondering if anyone had some advice on where to go for great scenic photography.

I've never actually been to any of the Finger Lakes, but I have been to Corning which is a very photogenic town with some very good museums.
The Elmira area has some gliding which might provide an interesting perspective.
Watkins Glen has (had) a race track for sports cars.

Finger Lakes Photos
Try Letchworth State Park near Dansville (off I-390). It's a bit far from Ithaca but worth it (known as the "Grand Canyon of the East").
Another suggestion is the winery in Hammondsport. Oneonta and Cooperstown are quite beautiful as well.
