Hi everyone, newbie here

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to this website, so thought I'd say hi. I'm 22 yrs old and have been interested in photography for about 5 yrs now - just upgraded my camera to a Fujifilm S5500 which I've found to be great. I mainly like taking portraits, especially of kids, but am open to all areas of photography. Look forward to being part of this site and hopefully learning more...

Welome to Byte. What part of the world are you from? The best way to learn and get feedback here is to enter one or two pictures in the POTW contest. That Fuji is a nice camera so looking forward to seeing some pictures from you.

I'm in Broome in Western Australia (in the Kimberley region - up the top). Yeah, I like the fuji so far - am hoping to get some pics uploaded for the POTW comp soon
