HP M307 "Unsupported Card" Problem
Hi, I have an HP M307 digital camera and randomly upon start up i got an "unsupported card" error and it persists upon every startup. I tried a different card in the camera and it works fine, by the way, the card is a SD 256mb. I also tried the same card in another camera and it seemed to work alrigh. Any suggestions?

m307 unsupported card
I have same problem with 256 SD card. Tried two brand new cards...same result. Tried formating the SD card per HP Help and manual; no change. M307 is tested with cards up to 1 gig so it shouldn't have anything to do with the capacity of the 256 SD card. Trying to find the HP SD card card model L1813A...hard to locate.

I too have an HP M307 camera. I bought a Lexar 128MB SD card for it. It worked fine for about two days, now the camera displays "Unsupported Card" whenever I try to use it. The card itself is OK - I used it in my computer to transfer files. I had a friend put the card in his Kodak camera - it worked fine. He reformatted the card in his camera, still doesn't work in the HP. I tried formatting the card in the HP camera - no luck. I tried formatting the card in my computer - still doesn't work in the camera. The problem is clearly associated with the HP M307 camera. I'm starting to tell everyone I know to stay away from HP digital cameras.

Solution (sort of)
Well I have a solution to the problem, sort of. I contacted the manufacturer of the card, sent it back and got a replacement. The card had a 5 year warantee on it. The replacement is working OK (so far).
It seems like the problem is not JUST with the camera and it is not JUST with the memory card. It must be some sort of compatibility issue between the two. Hope someone figures it out soon - many people seem to be having the same problem.
