I got a new sandisk ultra II 2 gig card for my Digital Rebel Xt 350D. after inserting the card the first time, the camera said 1.9 gig free. after formating the card, I get 1.8 gig free. is the camera's format different from the factory's format?

also, I don't see the options in any of my menus to see the camera's OS version? it's suppost to be in sp2, but I looked in all the menus and don't see it anywhere.

The firmware version of my 20D only shows up when the camera is switched to a manual mode. Stick it on AV or something and try the menus again.
