I am a daily user of this WONDERFUL site, and I just wanted to make a comment on something that I find to be MAYBE the BEST part of this website. There are sooooo many COOL features to this site, but I think that the RANDOM IMAGES section is WILD. It is a GREAT help in finding new Galleries to check out. It is also WONDERFUL, because it help PROMOTE pictures that you have NOT recently added to the site. As more and MORE members are joining, it is also a way to kindof keep an OVERVIEW of all that is going on.....

I know I've spent hours on end centered on the random images section and just keep on refreshing (F5 ) over and over to view all the great photos

This is a briljant site.
its a pitty that I cant express myself b/c I dont write Englisch but believe me : this is the best (photo_ place in the whole world.

End not only b/c of the pics....I think all members are special., colorfull people and very creative.
I am jalous that I am NOT able to write here all my thougts.

I know how you feel about NOT being able to express yourself. I have been it that situation before. I find no problem to understand your English. You DONT have to worry about me laughing if you misuse a word or something. We are here to support each other..... BY THE WAY, I would LOVE to see that picture LARGER that you uploaded with the Statue of the man and woman looking up in the air..... SUGGESTION...... Before your upload it BIGGER,,,,, try touching up the RED out of the picture... What I mean is to cover up that red building with a blus color.... THAT IS JUST my OPINION..... But I would love to see it larger... It is hard to totally enjoy in that small size.....

Hi and thanks ( and thats not a cliche)

I am not only handicapt to express myself in your langw. but also handicapt b/c I cant handle my PC and...I dont understand NOTHING about soft-ware programs like photoshop etc.., its much to compl.for me b/c I cant read the instructions.

So...its impossible for me to change something on my images!!!!

I will put the origenal photo on the gallery and you will see that stupid banner of a gas-iol station nearby the group of statues.,they are ca. 3 mtr high and their are - I think - 10 of these.
You will find them in front of the FARO-airport here in Portugal.

I am crazy ., stupid but HAPPY.
and also happy here with all the members.

...I placed - only for 1 day - some extra pics of that statures
here in Portugal., I will take them out at saterday.

The random pics are also my fave part of the site...there are so many pics and I can spend hours hitting refresh button to see whats next..I find that many pics deserve some comment and to me the random feature is what makes this site rock..

you guys may have already read this in another thread

but here is a trick that I use ...

I add one of my "favorite" photographers photos to "my favorites" and then just click on that photo which will bring an option for see all of this user's photos which I will then do periodically…

You are totally right about that there are many pictures that deserve comments here in this site. I do my BEST to leave as many comments as I can to great photos that I see. I just wish that more people would do the same. That way, we can all help each other to get better, and it never hurts to tell a person how much you like his/her work........ We all could use a little confidence and praise

Thank you very much for the reply to my post. I am going to check ou that picture. Dont worry if you cant retouch the pictures yet. We all have to learn and improve. I am NOT the greatest with retouching myself. There are others here that are much better. WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS THAT WE ALL HAVE FUN......

Just a little suggestion. Would it be easier to have different catagories to list your picture into when you submit. This would allow users to look at the type of photos they like.

I like the availability of the random pics too.
But how about a <next 12> option for the recent posted pics. It will be very helpful for someone wanting to see recent posted pics or catch up after taking a break from the Internet.
Just my morning coffee thoughts...

good point...
but there already is such a thing
at the top of the gallery on the first page under the search button there is a list that says Recent Posts: last day last 7 days last 14 days all images
