when I put it on the view picture mode, everything works fine. but when I switch to the take picture mode, the lens cover shutters (opens and closes rapidly) for a few seconds then stops, and everything shuts off. It is like the lens cover is stuck on something.

Anyone have any ideas of what the problem is, and if it is fixable? Is there anything easy I can do to debug the problem myself or do I have to mail it somewhere to repair it? how much would that cost. Any help is appriciated, thanks...
