restoring images on fuji cameras

Someone has accidently deleted some images off of a Fuji Finepix S602 zoom camera. According to some others I have talked to Fuji cameras will automatically erase all deleted images and will even make the memory card blank so there is no chance of recovery. Does anyone know anything about this or if there is a way to recover lost image from Fuji digital cameras.
Thanks

This is about the best software that I've seen for restoring lost/deleted files.....really works well

photorescue

they have a free demo that show what it can restore.

I use a fuji finepix S5000 and I don't know of a way to restore them after I delete them. If there is a way I would love to know it.

Scrappy, I left a message above on how to do this...Photorescue...it is, hands down, the best program out there.
I recently restored all of the lost files (sermons) from our pastors floppy disk.

The program works great and it isn't expensive.

This assumes, of course, that the camera uses a memory card of some sort.
