Unhappy someone ruined my DSC-P41...help please!

i think some people got into my room and found my camera. they put it in the microwave, and i found it there later that night.

it turned on, but it asked me for the date and time again.

now whenever i turn it on, the camera doesn't open the shutter to take pictures, it just says "USB Mode Normal"
Like it was connected, but it's not.

HELP!

My guess is that....

No one has posted because they probably don't know how to solve your problem. I'd call Sony or call where you bought the camera if they specialize in cameras. HOWEVER, I bet once they hear your camera has been in the microwave, they'll probably tell you it's ruined. If someone fried your camera, that can't be good news.

Good luck calling Sony - maybe they can help. I hope so, because cameras ain't cheap. Sorry for your bad bit of luck.
