The best thing to do is to take pictures at an actual wedding as a second shooter. The important thing about taking wedding pictures is to get close enough to your subject but not too close as to cut off the head or the feet! The focusing must be right on so focus on the eyes whenever possible. You must have two cameras, two flashes, extra film and lots of ideas! Good manners, good nerves and a sense of humour is a must. Good luck and try to have fun.

Kent courses

Hi there,

When we started out in the wedding photography business, I lived in Kent myself..a long time ago. We actually attended a fantastic 2 day course in Southampton by a guy named Ray Davenport. A very wealthy and successful man, I am sure you would find his course very useful.

All the best,

Nick
