Canon A95 installation disk

Hi, I've just bought a Canon A95 Powershot and I'm having trouble getting the Solutions Disk to install.
It appears to set up OK but when it tries to install I get a message saying " FILE TRANSFER ERROR, INSTALLATION FAILED". I've got Windows XP.
Any suggestions gratefully received, in layman terms please

I am having the same problems with the software for the Canon SD500. Could you please tell me how you solved your problem.

Use Google.

Go into the "Groups" link on the home page. From there a list of "Google Groups" will pop up. Go into the computer group and type the error message into the search window. You should get multiple hits on threads that discuss this topic, and possible remidies to the problem.
