Does anyone know if a Nikon Coolpix 4300 can use a 512 CF Memory Card? How about 1 Gb or more? What is the most CF memory this camera can handle?

As long as it’s a ‘CompactFlash - Card Type I’ size shouldn’t be an issue ….

It can handle them, but if your at a party, or a game, then I would stick to smaller cards. They are VERY slow to save pictures, delete, or review. I regret getting 512 mb cards for my camera. Wish I'd have gone for the 265 or even 128 instead.

Thanks for your reply, Pooky 125. I think I will get a couple of smaller cards rather than a 512 or 1 Gig. I would rather get faster action from the card than more content. BTW, I looked at your gallery and your photos are great.
