Jan. 19, 2005 Pepcom Inc., the country's leading technology showcase producer, announced today that Best Magazine will co-sponsor the annual DigitalFocus Awards at Pepcom's DigitalFocus media event in Orlando, on February 19th. Now in their eighth year, the highly coveted awards honor the best in digital imaging technologies.

DigitalFocus will take place at the Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19th, the evening before the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) trade show opens at the Orlando Orange County Convention Center. An exclusive showcase for press and analysts, DigitalFocus is the week's premier media event, with more than two dozen companies participating, including industry leaders such as Canon, Epson, Fujifilm, Konica Minolta, Nokia, Olympus, Shutterfly, Sprint, and many more.

The 10 categories for the DigitalFocus awards are: Consumer Digital Camera (less than $500), Prosumer Digital Camera (greater than $500), Professional Digital Camera, Wireless Imaging, Color Printer, Image Scanner, Imaging Software, Storage Solutions, Digital Imaging Service, and the Technical Innovation Award. The winners and finalists will be announced on Feb. 19, and the awards will be presented to participating companies at the DigitalFocus event.

Following DigitalFocus, Pepcom's next two events are MobileFocus on Monday, March 14 in New Orleans, and Rave! on April 17 in Las Vegas.
