My Olympus D-390 won't turn on

After trying multiple pairs of new batteries, my camera still won't turn on. Also an error message saying ' Picture error' with an exclaimation mark inside a triangle came up when I tried to access some of my old pictures. Does anyone know how to make my camera turn on?

Olympus 390 won't turn on

Well, you've probably thrown your camera away by now but my D390 just did the same thing this evening after taking about 100 photos at xmas. I'm going to look into why it's not working but would be interesting in knowing if you ever got yours working again.

I'm going to take the card to Wal-mart or Costco and have them download the photos to CD while I take this camera apart to see why it stopped working. If there are any techs out there, it would be nice to know what to look for. The two power lights(yellow and green) don't come on and the display is continuously blank when the door is opened. Could a light have burned out on this? I noticed the batteries get quite warm after being in the camera a while. Hooking it up to the computer will not detect the USB device so I can't download the pictures from the camera.

Definately needing some help!
