A1 flash help

Any help with A1 flash suggestion would be great. I am new to all of this and would like to ease my way into all of these great accessories. I would like to get an external flash. I am looking at the 3600, but have questions:

Will this work as a wireless remote flash with the A1?
If my price ceiling is around $150 (US) is there a non-Minolta brand, i.e. SunPAck, that anyone might suggest as an alternative?
What other required items will I need that are unforseen until you get the flash - off camera shoe, cable, etc.

Thank you,
Chris

I ended up with the Minolta 3600HS (D). So far seems great. It does operate in wireless mode with the A1 and no other components were needed.

I hope this information assists someone else with a similar question.

Chris
