I was wondering what everyones choice was in batteries. I got some heavy duty batteries this Christmas and I am getting only 30-40 pictures at the most before changing them. I was getting at least 200 with alkaline. Are heavy duty batteries just a rip off because at this point I think they are garbage and I would never use them again.

There are heavy duty general purpose batteries, and then there are batteries designed to be used in digital cameras. Generally you're much better off with the digital camera batteries - they're built to withstand the high drain digital cameras cause.
