darkness problem
Hi
I take pictures of products for our web site using a sony dsc-f505v cybershot. its getting old now and although I've got a full set of lamps and a table but its really difficult to take a picture without the corners being 'burnt' and really poor contrast on product against the white table. Are these problems down to limitations on my camera or would extra lamps help - if its the camera does anyone know a good replacement camera that would help illiminate these problems.
Thanks
Ciarán

Hi
What type of products are you trying to photograph. Are you using DIFFUSION Material between the LAMPS and the Product. If you dont then there would be too much AMBIENT Light or Bright light which will make your photos look burnt or too bright.
A diffusion material is a semi-transparent or transluscent white material (paper, plastic cloth) etc which will "Diffuse" the light to make it soft. Try using a Tracing paper (make sure it does not burn in Hot lights) or different materials from the Hardware store. I think this would help.
I hope this helps
thanks
Leo
