Im new to this forum so hello everyone.
Ive been into photography for quite a while now but I have only got expirenece with a non digital camera.I was using my friends new cannon digital camera at the weekend and was quite impressed with it and iam thinking of getting somthing similar.
I need somthing that will take long exposure pictures.the max exposure time of my friends was 16 secs is there anything that will take longer exposures?Iam into astrophotography so i need the longest exposure possable.

I know the kodak dx7440 / 7490 can do up to 64 second exposures, and I'm sure there are longer ones out there.
