just curious as to how many shots i would get on a 256 memory stick at 5 megapixels for each shot

check your manual......but probably around a 100 if using your better setting. Answer depends on the camera and what settings you are using in terms of jpeg, tiff or raw.

Normally 75-125 but almsot all camera manuals give you this exact information. It varies based on the camera. I hope this helped.
