DSC W1 Splotch
I am new to the forum and have a question on the Sony DSC W1. I have had mine for several months, but only started really using it heavily over the past several weeks. Most of my pictures are turning out relatively well (not as good as my Nikon N75), but I have noticed on several pictures a splotch towards the upper left hand side. This "splotch" does not occur on all the pictures.
I was wondering if anyone had run into this problem on the DSC W1 or other digital cameras and had any advice on how to correct it. I am worried I may have a bad CCD, although if that were the case I would expect to have the problem on every picture.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi,
Could you upload a photo with a "splotch" on it so we can get a better idea of what it looks like ??

Thanks for the response. This is going to sound like a newbie question (because it is), but how can I get my picture converted into a file size small enough to upload?

You surely have some sort of photo editing tool so use it to reduce the photo to something like 800 pixels x 600 pixels and save it as a JPG file format.
