Sorry, New to the forum and was going to answer this and then noticed the date he posted it. Guess I was a bit late. Sorry for the useless post. I'll look more closely at the posting date next time.

well what action do you want to use?
For the simple macro action, just create a new action by pressing the new icon button under action menu, then assign a key for the action, and press record, do what ever action you want such as color change, saturation, save as etc. and once complete, press stop on the action and you may use that same button assigned to perform the same action by a single click.
