Hmmm... Anyone know if it's possible to download images from the A95 without using the Canon software? I Know with WinXP and a Sony, or pretty much any other cheapo brand I've encountered, you just plug in the USB, and bing, you get another drive letter. Tried plugging in the A95, and it doesn't go! Please don't tell me I have to install and use proprietry Canon software? That'd suck (OK, I'd cope, but it'd still suck). Also makes it somewhat harder to use under linux

Well that's odd - tried it on a couple o different XP systems, and it worked just fine without the canon software <shrug> Musta screwed up the first time Might have also found how to do it under RedHat as well
