Adding note to a photograph

Hi ,
I want to burn my photos on to a CD. Along with the each photo I want to add a note which should be viewable when I a do a slide show of the photos in the CD. But I do not want the notes to be part of the photo itself because if that is the case then when I take a print I would get the notes as well.

Can somebody please suggest a software which will help me solve this problem.
