Stylus 300 problem
I'm new here and looking for assistance.
I'll admit, I hate learning new things/reading instructions, etc. However, I've actually READ all the instructions and info that came with my new Stylus 300 and I'm still having difficulties.
The biggest problem is getting a clear focus. This is my fourth digital camera and I've never had this problem with any of the others... granted they were all larger camera, but also OLD by today's standards. I'm wondering if because this camera is so small the slightest movement causes a blur??? I think I'm holding it still - but it used a tripod today for some close ups and they turned out passable.
I'm also having to use a flash on all the close ups - otherwise the colors aren't showing up well at all - never had to do that with the old Mavica.
The settings don't seem nearly as 'user friendly' as my old Sony Mavica - but I suppose I'll learn them. I decided to go with Olympus because my daughter has one that takes great photos. I've also bought dh a new 540 for Father's Day... hope I haven't jumped too soon with these little things.
Perhaps I'm comparing apples to oranges and just haven't learned all the ins and outs of this new camera.... I used it ALL DAY today, and got some passable photos, but lots of throw aways.
Any info or suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.
