When swans go bad!!!

I was shooting some swans at my local Marina when one of them took a disliking to being photographed. Needless to say, I was unable to obtain a signed model release.

He decides he's had enough

too close for comfort (note lack of control of composition!)

Regards,

Geoff.

Excellent shots !!!! ... to convey a terrifying story. I knew they were vicious beasts. lol
The 'panning' in #2 is very well done.

i like the b/w-with-the-slight-color-cast-look of the first shot
and the panning effect of the second...
now....i have to know...is the panning real? if it is....i'm amazing...it came out perfect...if not...then i still like it....
anyway...nice effects u

I'm afraid the effect in #2 isn't real. I have created the effect many times in the past by zooming while opening the shutter but in that shot I didn't have time to think of doing that. The swan REALLY was going for me! I used Radial Zoom Blur in Photoshop to create the effect.

Thanks for your comments,

Regards,

Geoff.
