Hi Folks,

I'm new to the forums so I suppose I should first provide a bit of background.

I am a totally untrained (except for a high school photography class), definately amateur, photographer. Up until recently, I've mainly taken pictures with the idea of using the material for oil paintings... some day. But in all the picture taking I guess I got bit by the bug, not to mention the lower cost of Digital SLR cameras, and have started taking my photography a little more seriuosly and am truely having a great time of it.

I've mainly worked as a technical support technician (Windows) but have had the opportunity to work professionally as an artist on several Sierra On-Line games and been fortunate enough to grace the back cover of the most recent Boston (rock band) album called "Corporate America".

Recently I picked up a Nikon D70 and although I am making a LOT of amateur mistakes, like leaving the camera in auto focus for several hours, and forgetting I was in night shooting mode, I've managed to take a few images that I think look good enough to share.
