Hi Commodor I had to reset the pass to "***pass is in your e mail***" on your premium gallery so that I could work on it

*****Your Q - How can I increase the thumbnail size?****

I reset thumb size to 50% larger let me know if this is ok its critical that you are happy with the thumb before you upload a lot of photo as changing the view size will distort the thumb after they have already been made as this app does not have a built in "rebuild thumbs" function

*****Your Q - All photos show up together in one group even though I created different albums. What am I doing wrong?******

now when a visitor 1st comes to the index page they will see the most recent photos you uploaded and clicking the album list will take them to your "albums" and still show the most recent photos below that


*****Your Q -How can I alter the 1st view size after clicking on the thumbnail*******


I can change it for you again its like the thumbnail size you need to be happy with the intermediate size you choose because it will distort the photos if you try to change it after the fact

We will be making changes to the look of the premium gallery ......but can't make any promises as to how closely you would be able to have to your pbase account



When you get time upload some photos and get back to me with how its going .....I think the way I have the entry is nice visitors are first shown your newest uploads an then with 1 click they have both your newest and album list.........

I added some photos that you will need to delete for testing ...I left them their so you could see the way its working.....before you started uploading......let me know if you need help with the xp web publish feature

Commodor your gallery status .....

****Q***Can we just have each album represented in a list with a larger thumbnail and dispense
with most recent uploaded. Some people are just looking for specific interest.

I have enlarged the thumb size to 150px …..As for the main page “http://www.commodor.bytephoto.com”

I’m still working on how to make it show album list only

Alternatively if you use “http://www.commodor.bytephoto.com/index.php?cat=10002 “

It will show the album list 1st with one row of latest uploads below that


To add a direct link in your signature to your galleries album list insert the following code in the signature block in the user cp > edit profile you will need to replace the “*” with “R” in “url” at each end for it to function

You also may title it as you please by replacing the text My Gallery
Just make sure the tags stay in place] [

This code should work on any other board you visit as long as they support “URL” Tags

****Q*** I think 600 x 800 approx. would work ( size you requested )

the intermediate size now set to a max of 800 in height or width

****Q ****problem when I tried to upload some of my larger res files over 2048 x 2048 I got the error

I have set it to allow Max width or height for uploaded pictures (pixels) 4096 and Max file size for uploaded pictures 2 Megs

As I previously had mentioned changing the thumb and photo size setting distorts the photos already in the gallery so you will need to replace the files that you have already uploaded

As long as you’re happy with the thumb and intermediate sizes you may begin uploading and building your albums to suit …. As the other changes should not have an effect on the gallery structure

Also you will note in the top left hand corner of your gallery
