I to have been seeing this. I have to admit though alot of cameras are produceing oversaturated images from the camera. Many companys are finding this as a selling point and pushing it more and more.
Over all I like to see images have a nice natural tone, but I also love to see a simple boost in saturation like the classic Velvia look of slide film.
But at the same time I feel the colors should stay, saturating the colors to the point of loosing detail is pointless in my eyes, but some prefer it.
But thats the joy of being here, I get to see what alot of cameras are producing and also alot of what others are likeing.
I feel alot of this comes from when using Post Processing. Many are looking at the over all image, and not the actual detail. Many times a image will looked nice over saturated, but when examing you will find MOST of the detail is lost in areas.
