If your on a VERY tight budget for shooting concert photography (mainly) clubs, and bigger shows (now and than ) .

Which of these lens are the best pick/fit in your opinion?

I personally would choose a 50mm 1.8 prime or a 50mm 1.4 prime.

I must say that the mystique around "L" glass grabbed my attention. I serious about photography ( being "TBI" and
a pefectionist, by nature, having to settle for second best, due
to some freak accident, made me choose the "BEST" out there!

Another point, the "quality" issue is relevant to never having to take more of your bucks o get anything better
Plus it doubles for an excellent portrait lens
