Rape Seed or Mustard
I don't know if this stuff is Rapeseed or mustard. I think they both have similar yellow flowers. Does anyone else know. Took the shot yesterday with a polarizer. It was an incredible looking field. The origional was one third sky and two thirds crops in line with the rule of thirds but in this case I thought this crop worked better.
Thanks for looking and critiques welcome.
Matt

Hi Matt
I really like your POV in this shot. Looks like mustard to me. In Canada, they don't call it rape seed anymore. Gotta call it Canola.

Hi Matt, thought the colour one would be nice. No pleasing me, eh!! I would have thought though, that the yellow would have shown up more when I looked at the B&W. Very nice image. Regards [F.R.]

OOps
Sorry folks.
I completley forgot about this one and didn't realise I got quite so many replies. I've established it's rape seed now and thanks for the link 1969, very interesting. This is one of my favourite shots from this year. The print turned out lovely. Glad you all enjoyed it some too.
Thanks for the comments and feedback
Matt

This is amazingly taken, the colors are so vivid..
However sharpness of the photo is abit too much, it's killing me
