Another name for 'drive by shooting'
Since I, too, often get some of my shots while driving, a friend of ours on the Oly forum, dboogie, called it LCD shots. (Lucy car driving) shots. LOL
By the way, rct......that is a fabulous=looking horse. Love the way the tail is waving in the breeze! Beautiful shot...nice and crisp!

On New Years Eve, I went to Tofino, here in Vancouver Island. I was with a friend that is used to stop the car to let me take pictures... But anyways... it had snown all over the place and we were worried wheter we would be able to cross the mountains and come back to Victoria. The mountains were full of snow and altough the sky was covered with clouds, there were some nice pictures to take. But we couldn't stop, cause it was dangerous, with possible avalanches, not to mention that there were other people around. So instead of stopping, I opened the window and started shooting, while the car kept going. A few of them I didn't even know how they were going to look like, cause I was putting my camera above the car...
Anyways... the pictures weren't that great, although I caught one with a river that could be really nice if there was sunshine. Still, it was fun...

A driveby shooting in motion
I took this shot with this thread in mind.
We were driving into the Lehigh tunnel yesterday during the rain. So I set the speed quick, composed and shot right as we entered but still making sure the arch was shown.
I was surprised it came out clear at all with that short notice

Real Drive By
This is a L.A. SHERIFF that I am turning into Digital Art.
Hope you like it it's not strictly a photo but it does fit the scheme.
