Memory Sale
A quick one for anyone looking for more memory. I have been shopping around for more myself for a trip coming up but didn't want to shell out big bucks on the chance I would need it (already have 1GB). Today I found a good deal though...
Circuit City has San Disk 512 MB CF cards (reg price around $150) on sale for $109, plus a $40 rebate. That's only $69. Thought it was cheap. Got mine as a backup.....

Great bargain.. thanks for sharing it... just a pity they don't ship/sell internationally.

I know the feeling -- one of the other forums I watch is in Europe and they are always chatting about the deals over your way... frustrating!

512 cf on sale
wow, I just bought a 512mg XD card for $219.. it used to sell for closer to $300.
Did I see somewhere that you can use a CF card with XD cameras if you have a special converter card.. or was that vise versa.. XD to CF. I have never really looked at the size of a CF so dont know

CF to XD
I just found this link...
http://www.precision-camera.com/Mer...ory_Code=OLYMCA
Only problem is.. it cost $59.95 so that would be $170 total to stars.
Whats the real diff between CF and XD?
I assume I would still not be able to do real panorama with the CF since I cant do it with Fuji XD cards.. only Olympus XD cards along with other Olympus special options.

All I can say is, I think your right in assuming that you cannot do panoramas with CF cards on Olympus's. Sorry, but that's all I know on the subject.
