With all the clouds I started looking at things to do....had these shots from two different nights and two different acquisition programs (one turns the images upside down). So, I processed them and then combined the two processed images.
M42 and M43....In the Constellation of Orion....one of my favorites (I know, I always say that).


I tried to process it so that the four little stars in the middle (the trapezium) would be visible.

Kinda looks like a big bird, doesn't it?

hey budguinn,

How do you do that? Which equipment do you use? With my equipment I can't even take a picture of the stars without any zoom...

Yeah well... I'm kinda poor so I don't have money for any equipment...

Oh well... maybe I should make fun of myself...
