Geoff,
Both nice shots....I like the darker look on these.
Looks like a nice area for a walk,

Another couple of nice shots.... I do like the similar pattern between the mud flats and the cloud formation in N°1 ...and the sun was in the perfect position too. Good capture !!

These are both nice Geoff. But if I had to pick a favorite.. I would choose the one with the bridge. But I do like the sunlight on the first one.

Nice work Geoff
The 2nd looks very familiar. Where is this? You certainly have a wonderful eye for angles and composition Geoff. The detail in the foreground really adds to the depth in the 2nd picture leading you up to the pier. This is frustratingly familiar, please put me out of my misery, I'm sure I've been to this beach. Is this somewhere on the Bristol channel.
Thanks
Matt

Thanks for all your kind comments.
As for where this is, I put you out of your misery Matt
It's Clevedon Pier, Clevedon, North Somerset, UK.
The pier sits over the Severn Estuary / Bristol Channel.
Hope this sets your mind's at ease!
Regards,
Geoff.
