The Cannon i950
Unboxed a new Canon i950 last week and can report that it's everything
I hoped for.
I intended to stay with Epson but found the Canon to be faster ad quieter
by far......And, the printing quality is amazing!
A 4X6 prints in about 30 sec. and you can hardly hear it.
Also I can use the Epson paper that I still have.
happy printing,
Cliff

The i950 is a great choice very very very fast, its quite and does wonderful job …I had its little brother the i850 for awhile …..and switched to a Epson 2200 for the B&W and large Format capabilities ……but I still miss being able to whip out a 4x6 or even 8x10 in just seconds …………………Sam’s club has a good price on the 950 right now ……but I think my wife will kill me if I bring it home as I have three printers setup now

i950 is Great
I love the i950!
This is my first photo printer and I must say I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the photos.
My favorite paper to use is the Canon Matte Paper, but I also have the Canon PPP Glossy which is great for 4x6's and Yesterday Picked up a pack of Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper 100 4x6 sheets only cost me $14 bucks! It isn't as great as the Canon PPP but with some tinkering in the canon software I got great results on this too...
My favorite picture so far is a 8x10 Sepia Tone picture of my son on a bear skin rug! Man did this picture turn out great!

Don,
I'm not surprised a bit.....or even a byte.
My i950 is into it's third month and hasn't missed a lick.
We have a new grandson and he is growing so fast I can't
keep up with the prints.
The printer is a joy to use because it is soooo quiet. shhhh,
you can hardly hear it.
Glad to hear someone else is having fun with the i950.
