M27 The Dumbell Nebula
This is a beautiful little object. Taken last night (1/13/04). The seeing was average or below. The object, right now, comes up at about 3:30, and as such I only got a total of about 20 minutes of image time before Mr. Sun started to get in the way.

Telescope: Televue NP101
Camera: MX5C
6pics@7mins Processed in AstroArt3 and PS.
By the way, if you multiply 6*7 you get 42minutes...but the nature of this camera is that half of the time is used to guide, so the actual image time is 21 minutes.
This object really needs about an hour of imaging time, but that won't be available for another month or so. (and I got in a hurry).
thanks for looking,
