M63 The Sunflower Galaxy
This is a picture of a beautiful galaxy in Canes Venatici. Right now it is coming up around 1:00 in the morning. Very Dim...about 23.5 million light years distant. It gets it's name, The Sunflower Galaxy, from the obvious colors.

My "seeing" was poor to fair....the sky at night looks semi-clear, but very high clouds.
Telescope: Televue NP101
Camera: MX5C
19pics @ 7mins processed in AstroArt 3.0 and P.S.
thanks for looking
