I became a member yesterday and I am impressed with the entire site. Thank you for making it available.

I have for years enjoyed taking pictures but I would now like to get serious. I see where you can have people rate your pictures. My question is how do you do this?

Thank you in advance for any help

Not sure what your meaning. Are you wanting to know how each person personally rates photos, or are you just looking to know how to rate a photo and post it?

If your looking to rate a photo and post it, then thats easy...

Just log into the system. There should be a small text box on the left side of the gallery, POTW, or what ever your in. If so just log in as normal.

When logged in you can select a photo you want to rate and scan down to the bottome of the page. You will see a text box and a list of numbers from 1-10. Just select the number you want and write a little caption to go along with it and hit SUBMIT.

YOUR DONE, now was that easy or what...

Thank you for the reply. I guess I wasn't clear enough so I will try again.

I would like people to rate my photos but when I upload a photo or post a photo there is no "rating" choice. They can leave me a comment but they cannot rate my photo. (Not really sure if I can take rating but I would like to try

Thank you again for your help. I hope this time I was a littel clearer.

Man just wrote you a whole reply to have it be lost before sending.

I just went to your gallery and its fine. The reason your seeing what your seeing is that your looking at your own gallery. The computer reconizes that and does not allow you to rate your own photos. This is normal an is the same for all users. There would not be much of a point to have the person takeing the photo rate it...

IF your looking for more comments I would recommend posting in the POTW, assignments, or forum area. They seem to get more traffic that standard member areas.
