Would be greatfull for some feedback
I am fairly new to bytephoto and was hoping that I could get some feedback on my gallery.
(just click on the gallery button below)
Mainly I would like to know what types of photos you prefer and what I should take more photos of.
I previously had taken mainly flower shots but since joining here I have been experimenting with different ideas.
Thanks in advance.
Tara

Tara, you may be new to the forum but not to photography. First you should take photos of what you like and not what we like. I really like the shots of lines and perspectives.... You have a very eclectic set of photographs with a little of everything. Some of hte macros could stand to be a little sharper....and some perhaps a little more saturation (but this is a personal preference).
very nice work and thanks for sharing,

budguinn,
Thanks for your response and for taking the time to look at my gallery I am actually quite new to photography. I have had my camera for just over a year but have only started seriously taking photos instead of snapshots in the last few months.
I only have a 2.1mp camera and the macro mode isn't the best. I really like taking this type of photos but need to buy a better camera.
I am still learning about the post processing though and need to read up more on how the best to achieve these results.

Tara,
If you're looking for a good macro camera I don't think you can do much better than one of the Nikon Coolpix's. I have the 5700 and the 4500......I recently got the 4500 from Ritz Camera for $375 for a refurbished camera (they were about $700 new). It works great.....I also use it with my telescope.
Here is a review of the little camera:

take a look at the pics.....or go to the Nikon forum and just lurk some.....I did this before I bought my 5700....lots of good stuff.

Other than this forum, this is my other place to hang out at.
