Owl (with feet)
This is the same owl, different image. This one has the feet in it.

Lou,
I think I like the first one more......it would be nice to have the feet...but I think with a little saturation and sharpening it is better over all than this one. This one also needs to have the chroma noise removed.
Now, I must admit I played with both of them......I took the feet off of this one and put them and merged the backgrounds with the first one. I'll show it if you like.......it was just good practice at retouching.
Beautiful animal no matter what.

I'd be glad to see it. I played around with this quite a bit. The BG was very bright, so I darkened it and tried to lighten the owl. I must have overdone it. I'll post the original and see what you think. I'll put it in my gallery. This digital stuff is all new to me. Lou

Lou,
These are really magnificent birds....thanks for letting me work with your picture.
Here is the straight owl...with the feet taken from this post and added to your previous post.
And, since I make frame actions......I had to frame it.
What do you think?
regards,

It's better with feet IMO ...
BTW a wonderful piece of retouching, Bud.
